Lots of times you have to decide between earning miles and points or cash back on your everyday purchases, but your Bank of America credit cards can actually earn both points and cash back at the same time. I know lots of us have a Bank of America rewards credit card of some sort, with the Alaska Airlines card being a pretty popular one. On that card and others issued by BoA your purchases can earn cash back and miles/points at the same time if you add BankAmeriDeals to your cards! This is sort of like Amex Offers, just slightly different.
These BankAmeriDeals offers are each relatively small with low maximum cash back caps, but every dollar counts to me, so I was thrilled when I recently noticed that one of these deals had scored me 10% cash back on our family Starbucks order for a total of $1.27.
If you want to add these deals to your Bank of America credit card, then when you log into your Bank of America credit card account, look on the right hand side for some BankAmeriDeals as shown below. Some retailers available in my account include Starbucks, Five Guys, Potbelly, Airbnb, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Stichfix, and more.
Even if you don’t make regular use of these cash back deals, adding them to your card and then forgetting about them can still result in some surprise savings when you happen to swipe your card at a participating retailer.
Here are a few examples of deals on my account:
